  1. OMG!!! Im losing my hair also. I was banded in april and have been losing hair eversince. Ive just purchased some Nioxin. Which I highly recommend, Ive used this product before and it definately helped. I had lots of new growth. You can get it on ebay for around half the price you pay in the shops. Im going to drag the juicer out of the cupboard and start juicing again. Thanks for the reminder :wink2: the kids will love it too. Does the loss slow down? Has anyone else had this problem and it did slow down? My hair is very thin already and losing it is very stressing. To be totally honest, I would rather be overweight than bald. If I was a male it wouldnt be so bad I would just shave my head but for a woman its terrible
  2. Hi everyone and thanks for your well wishes. I had the procedure and Im feeling good. The liquid diet isnt bothering me. Ive eaten enough food in my lifetime so this wont hurt one bit. I wasnt in alot of pain post op. I was up and about the next morning and in the shower. Ive had 2 c-sections and they are 10x worse than this procedure. Now I just looking forward to seeing how I progress and what my new life unfolds for me. Good luck Jena and Sharon, you'll be fine :biggrin2:
  3. Im going in today for my lapband surgery. Im so nervous and excited. I feel a bit teary. It must be because I know Im saying goodbye to my old lifestyle. But its all good and Im looking forward to embracing the new with open arms. Wish me luck!! I'll come back when I get out of hospital and give you an update. Bye for now Danni:biggrin2:
  4. Hi Im being banded on the 22nd April thats 3 of us who are so close in dates. Its so scary and exciting at the same time. I have my doubts also. My mum was banded 4 weeks ago and is doing really well. She was a huge emotional eater. She always used to feel hungary but the band has helped her tremendously and she has lost 18kgs so far. I cant wait for mine to be done. Good luck with it all Danni
