  1. It is your choice and your body, you do not need to explain anything to anyone. But! Just always say on facebook "hitting the gym," or pictures of healthy food. Sign up for a 10k or sprint triathlon (even if you do not end up doing it) just tell people "Ya I am training for this sporting event and the weight is just falling off!" Just say I am on the KETO diet and only drink green tea. I told my co-workers which is true, that I am having surgery to fix my debilitating acid reflux that was causing my esophagus to develop pre-cancerous cells, and fix a hernia, so I just say everything without saying "gastric bypass," and I just mention that they are taking part of my stomach to help with the reflux.
  2. yes its just Emmapundti need one too!
  3. Hello! I am new to the page and my surgery is in a week! I am excited but nervous, I guess I always thought I wouldn't get approved or this day wouldn't come but I am excited even though I am super nervous. Can I get any advice for the first week after surgery? I will not have too much help around the house afterward, will this be okay? Was is difficult to get fluids in, and get out of bed? I can have anyone stop by anytime I just won't have anyone staying with me.
  4. Oh my goodness you are absolutely perfect! Good job on all of your hard work!
  5. I have my surgery on Monday the 10th! Maybe we could message each other and I could tell you how mine went and how I felt. I don't have a boyfriend or family where I am at so I will be doing it by myself for the most part with friends stopping by, so hopefully, everything will be okay. Congratulations!
  6. I like amazon, I am having my surgery on the 10th! I am super nervous too!
