Just got the call! Have to be in at 5:30 am extremely nervous, but also excited. Not sure how many friends and family I have that are actually in support of this and it's taken me many years to come to this decision along with this past year of getting clearances! All my drs can agree on seem to be this procedure! I truly hope I have no complication and that I am making the right choice. Thank you to this support groups for at least giving a safe place to voice my journey !

What are the main sizes of portion containers that I will need for after? I cannot remember what my NUT said?

Welcome I just started on here too but have been reading. My surgery is Wednesday very nervous and excited

That is something to look forward to. No I don't have much clothing to wear after surgery and not quite sure how I want to go about getting clothes during the time I'm losing. What shake are you using ? How many grams of protein?

I'm in same situation! I only have to do one week of liquid diet, but I don't know if it's from detoxing or if I'm allergic to something in the shakes but I have had constant stomach issues ...almost like the symptoms they describe with dumping but this is preop

Thanks I hope I don't have a bug I am using baritrack protein shake. The first couple of days I was constipated, but not now lol...I read about dumping syndrome but that's supposed to happen way after surgery as you reintroduce foods back in. This is just my preop but maybe it's clearing out the bad who knows..I will have to call dr on Monday I guess if it doesn't stop. I go for surgery on the 28th

I am on day 4 of shakes and I am literally shaking, nautious clammy chills and diarrhea! I know I'm supposed to be detoxing, but is this normal?

Wow starting to feel really lucky I only have to do preop liquid diet for a week.
