  1. Hello all: I logged in here months ago, but haven't taken the time to figure out the navigation panels. I just found out today that my insurance is going to cover lapband at 100%, no deductable, but I have to complete a 6 month doctor monitor nutrition course. I'm disappointed as to the delay to get started on this, but at least I have insurance coverage for it. I'm sure I will learn a lot from the program, but please.... all of us at this point have learned a lot of this stuff and when I asked what the insurance company was hoping for with that requirement and was told that it's that they are hoping that a patient won't complete the 6 months and they won't have to pay for the procedure. I think the stress of insurance is almost worse than the stress of the surgery! ha Hope to chat with some of you here and learn from your experiences good and bad!
