  4. I had my band done in 2012 and hardly lost anything. Had a baby in that time and now I am ready to get back on board! I am doing protein shakes for 2 weeks to get my band/body/mind all back in-check! I control my body , my body doesn't Control me. I am down 4.8 pounds in 7 days and I am ok with whatever amount right now. A loss is a loss!!! I am ready to use the tool I got. I can go back and forth about how I should've gotten a different surgery or how this is harder then I thought so I should have did it differently. But it is what it is SO... let's get this done right!!!! I am ready for a fresh start and to get to my end goal! We can do this!!! Motivation/dedication/ and determination! [emoji4]

  6. I had my lap bad surgery done back in 2012. I lost about 30 pounds and then worked a horrible shift and never could go back to get my fills. I only had 3cc in and had hardly no restrictions. Since then had a baby and went back in and she brought me up to a 5cc. I did that within 2 appointments. Anyways, my baby now is 15 months and I am just struggling with feeling like a failure because I still couldn't get my weight under control. So I called my bariatric coordinator and I asked him if he thought by me drinking protein shakes for 2 straight weeks would help get me on track. He said yes, absolutely. It helps with a lil weight loss, and would help get my mind back under control is how I understood it. lol I definitely need that. Anyways, I am sooo hungry and struggling with headaches. I am in Day 2. Has anyone else done this and what was your success from it???? I need some encouragement! [emoji4]
