  1. Help! I am about a month out from my surgery and I am looking for a psycologist, councelor, that specializes in weight control. I live in Ft. Worth but I would drive to big D because I feel this is an important part of my theropy. I really want this to be sucessful and I feel that it may help to reach down into my inner thoughts to find the root of what makes me a emotional eater. I have a very positive attitude and no fear of the operation ( because I've done my rearch), but I want to go the step further and really make this work. Any help is welcome Please comment

  3. No, this is Dr Guillermo Alvarez from Piedras Negras, Mexico
  4. I went to Dr Alvarez's seminar in San Antonio last Saturday, and I have to say I was very impressed. He went in depth about every aspect and I feel very confident about him. I had a very long list of detailed questions that I gathered from the sticky Researching Mexican Doctors ( thanks to WasaBubbleButt). I keep him there and extra 45 minutes with my questions all of which he answered in great detail. There were people that had been banded and sleeved and If the hadn't had the before pictures I would never have believed they had ever been overweight. All in all it was a great experience and look forward tho having my surgery done in the very near future.
  5. It is at the La Quinta Airport Inn 850 Halm SA at 1pm at 3pm they are having one on the Sleeve. I am really into reseach and this forum has been a godsend.
  6. Hello, I'm going to Dr Alvarez's seminar Saturday in San Antonio!!! Thanks to this forum I have learn quite a bit and so now I am proceeding with the next step by asking questions and meeting a potential surgon before I journey down to Mexico. I hope that everyone who has had this done and wish they had asked questions before would tell me what to ask! Of course I'm sure that the usual stuff will be answered, but I know there are some hard questions, that should be asked and I what to know what they are. So, They say hindsight is 20/20 and here is your oppurtunity to help some one with you wealth of expreience. Bard4fun
