Stay strong ! The first few weeks sucked !! I cried almost everyday. Just looking at broth made me want to throw up because i was so over it . I survived off of sugar free ice pops and Powerade zero . I know at 2 weeks i was able to start purees, not sure if your diet plan is the same but if it is your almost there ! I hated myself in the beginning I thought i made the biggest mistake ever but im now almost 7 months out and down 103 lbs . Loll i dont regret it for a second anymore [emoji846]

[emoji23] im in the same boat , currently going through mine now . I was on depo for 3 years didnt it get once got surgery in june and after that ive had 4. It sucks !!! And its super heavy . I have pcos so im use to never ever getting my periods even before starting the depo.

I got sleeved on July3rd . So I'm week post opt . Im looking for anyone who basically want to be there for each other with support and questions that normal people (ones who didn't get surgery) wouldn't understand. I know if i had a 2 day pre opt diet i wouldn't even bother cheating ! But of coarse mine was a month long and i has literally 4 birthday parties, a bridal party, a wedding, and fathers day all in one month. Im definitely going to try the premier ones! I dont like milk either it doesnt agree with me but im literally drinking water and power ade zero and living off of ice pops. I tested my urine today and I'm finally in ketosis which made me happy. I just cant wait to get this surgery !!!

Yes i see alot of people drinking premier ! I want to try one before buying a whole pack like i did with the optifast . I dropped $120 for me to hate the shakes lol i will never do that again!

Optifast . Something about them just make me gag . It reminds me of thicker milk and i hate milk to begin with . Also it makes me so sick , the second I drink them I hear my stomach rumble and I have to run to the bathroom.

Yea I almost fell off the table when my doctor told me a month. When i got my lapband i only had to do 2 weeks. So i wasn't prepared for that long. And it was strict shakes 4 times a day and a bar. No light meal or anything . Im almost 20 lbs down but i cheated a few days . But which like grilled chicken and a salad. All im craving is meat. But its almost our time so im trying to stay strong !

So I'm in my 3rd week of my pre surgery clear liquid diet down 20lbs. My surgery is July3rd I'm so excited I just want it to be here already! Ive realized tho I have no appetite..literally no desire to even drink my shakes anymore. I know its not healthy but even the thought of having a shake makes me nauseous. Yesterday i went the whole day just drinking water and having 1 sugar free ice pop. Is this whats suppose to happen ? Has this happened to anyone else during their pre op diet ?

Stay strong ! Im doing the optifast pre liquid diet as well .. the first 3 days were the worst !!! But if you make it through those then your good ! Ive been doing it since June 5th and my surgery is July 3rd so im on it for almost a month . Ive lost 10 pounds so far . But i slipped a few times . But if your going to slip make sure its not with like french fries or something .. i had a piece of grilled chicken the 4th day bc my headache was horrible and it definitely helped. Whenever i feel like i cant do i look at instagram pages of people who have done this surgery and their success it really helps or I distract myself with like a computer game or a game on my phone something to keep me busy . I also have been trying to stay outside alot and not in the house with a kitchen full of food. Its hard but youll make it !!! Add me on Instagram we can follow each others journeys ! Ive been there !!! I got my lapband in april of 2013 .. lost 80 pounds and found out i was pregnant the following October ! My start weight was 305 im now 315 and my daughter is now 2 .im getting my band taken out and getting the sleeve 6/29 . Im so excited im tired of failing at all diets . Ive really been trying so hard to loose weight on my own but it wasn't working. My drs basically told me the band wasnt as effective anymore and that most of this patients are going from band to sleeve . I also feel the bad just wasn't enough . I think you should definitely consider it ! Talk to your dr find out the pros and cons it doesnt hurt to do some research. Im actually really excited over this and originally back in 2013 i was anti sleeve bc of how permanent it was . My mind set has definitely changed since then !

I was the chubby girl in high school . Now being 23, a mother to a very active 2 year old, and getting married in exactly 1 year i finally made the decision to get the sleeve. I know I'm a few days late replying to this topic , but I just wanted to share my store with you. My whole life I was over weight. At 13 I finally got my period, but I knew something wasn't right because I got it once and it didn't come back for months. when I finally went to the gyno I was referred to a reproductive endocrinologist to find out i had PCOS. I did a few years of hormones and birth control to try and control it but it made me feel out of my mind (basically a maniac 24/7). I had to have a few surgeries due to growths inside of my uterus. And still till this day I don't get my period for months at a time. But ultimately I was told if I didn't lose weight I wouldn't be able to conceive naturally. Which no girl at all wants to hear. So at 19 I finally decided to get the lap band done. my starting weight being 305 getting down to 220. this making my body magically work and me getting pregnant only 6 months after getting the surgery. It wasn't planned but I was so excited. Now fast forward 2 years . I'm at my heaviest I've ever been 315 and my PCOS is deff worse. So I decided to get the sleeve done in June. I'm getting married in a year and I want to have another baby a few months after that. If I were to try it now it wouldn't happen so I'm using that as my biggest motivation!!! Stay positive and don't give up!

Looking in the mirror and not feeling horrible about myself. I had the lapband done in 2013 and lost 80 pounds, I remember the feeling of confidence and feeling good about myself. After having my daughter and putting back on almost 100 pounds i finally decided to get the sleeve done in june. I cant wait to feel good about myself !!! Im getting married in a year and I want to enjoy wedding dress shopping! I also want to do a boudoir photoshoot !
