    Wow, this is exactly what I needed to read. My surgery is scheduled for June 2 at Oasis of Hope. Unfortunately I have a few people with negative opinions of me having the surgery. However, I have tons of positive supporters as well. Thank you for sharing your story and I wish you the best!

    Not yet, but my surgery date is June 2. Tomorrow I start my liquid diet. I decided to go to Tijuana, Mexico because my insurance doesn't have any Bariatric benefits. I've done a substantial amount of research and I'm apprehensively excited about it. I know everything will be fine, just worried about leaving my kids.
