Thank you for saying this. I'm really starting to freak myself out over this.

I've been wanting the surgery for years, dreaming about it, going through every possible avenue to get financing, waiting for the right time when work and parenting would allow it. Now that everything has come together and my date is scheduled for less than a month I am getting sooooo scared! Please tell me this is normal for doubts to spring up just before surgery!

Hello All, I am trying to choose between the mgb and Roux en y. I was pretty set on the mgb but the doctor who would be performing the roux en y told me bile reflux is common in mgb. The mgb doctor told me it's less than 1%. I'm feeling so confused right now.

I know it's fairly recent but how are you doing so far? Also, were you advised against the mgb?

Hello All, im seriously contemplating getting an mgb but I may have an early stage of Barrett's. I'll find out on Monday. Has anyone here had an mgb with Barrett's?
