  1. Hi everyone. I am a new member of this forum, however I am not new to constantly visiting and reading about people's experiences. I am from Boston and I just got my date to be sleeved June 9th at Beth Israel Deaconess medical Center. My BMi is 39 and I found out while going through this process that I have sleep apnea which made me eligible through insurance. I am also going to be part of a study with brown university in Rhode Island that will match me with a fit bit, one of their smart phones and a device that counts swallows to see if this helps patients stay on track. I am excited but I am very nervous as I live alone and am hesitant to bother people to help me. Anyone else who had struggled with this?
