My Insurance requires the Psych, Nutritionist and Surgeon. I would love to get this moving a little quicker. The Bariatrician was booked 1.5 months out. I am glad to get the extra information, but the waiting is getting old.
I wish my program was this stream lined.
Hi,
I am in the same boat. I had to wait about three weeks for my 1st appt. and I just completed my first check mark today! Yeah!
I have my psych eval and she said everything was fine. Next week nutritionist and I can not get it to see the surgeon until the 22nd then Bariatrician on the 31st. These appointments are very hard to get.
Hi, I am in the same boat, my BMI is 36.8, with 3 comorbitities. but I am at the very beginning of the journey. It has taken so long for me to finally decide that this is what I want, I would like for it to just move along quickly. I have my first appointment on Wednesday.
How long did it take to get through the required appointments, before actually having it submitted to insurance?
Hi, have you tried a Fitbit? You may be surprised to find that you already walk 5000 steps per day. When I want to do a total of 10,000 I go to the track and walk 30-45 min. It is very motivating to have the Fitbit, just parking further away from the building really boosts the number of steps. Some times just walking over to a co-workers desk instead of sending an email, those little things add up.
