  10. Hello all, I just had my surgery on May 2nd and this recovery has been far more difficult than I expected. I'm really struggling with getting my 60 oz of fluid / 60 g of protein in and I feel like ONE of the reasons why is it takes me a while to get over drinking my liquid Tylenol. It's repulsive! I've been prescribed 20 mL every 6 hours and honestly I want to cry every time I'm due to take it. First off it's the worst tasting stuff I've ever had (to the point I gag when it goes down) and then it's so thick and viscous that it leaves me feeling super full and nauseous for almost an hour after I take it! Guess my question is two-fold: 1) Anyone know of options other than the liquid form of Tylenol and 2) How long did you feel you needed to stay on pain meds after your surgery? I got "nicked" during my surgery and still had an NG tube in my nose and a drain in my abdomen when I woke from surgery and I'm wondering if that's extending the amount of time I'll be in pain. TIA for any responses, I'm really struggling over here!
