  1. brittly~ you really should expand on your statement of being so miserable now. that is a scary statement to make to some people considering this procedure and I think it is unfair to just leave them with your prior post. what is it that is so miserable to you? were you possibly thinking this was a "get banded and wake up thin?" anything good takes hard work.
  2. Hey abby! Im am not far from you up north in chico,ca. I just wanted to give you my perspective as a surgical assistant who assists on gastric bypasses and gastric bandings 3days a week. I also used to assist on open gastric procedures, and my how far we've come with the laparoscopic procedures. I am so impressed by the surgeries and convinced of the benefits, that I am scheduled for a band in 8 days. This was just a quick reply, gotta put my kids down, but keep in touch and ask any questions you want! helen
  3. Hi there. my name is helen and I am currently approved,scheduled and awaiting my surgery on the 25th of april. I will begin my fast on wednesday of this week. I am being banded by Dr.Deron Ludwig in Chico,ca. I am really excited and not nervous at all for my surgery being as I work with Dr.Ludwig on his surgical team and assist him with gastric bandings and gastric bypasses. 12 days and counting!!!
