Hey, surgery went well. The first day was tough cause I was really high on meds, I couldn't stay up at all. The next day I started drinking my fluids and I find it easier to drink while I'm standing up or walking around. I don't have pain where the incisions are but I was getting a lot of acid reflux. Tums and walking has helped me a lot. They prescribed some Tylenol with codeine but I only take it at night so that I can sleep. I got home yesterday so today is my first day that I tried drinking my protein. Not a big fan of it cause it's super thick but I did it in a little more than an hr. The best advice I can give is to sip while standing up and walk a lot. I hardly get gas pains. Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app

Omg you're so lucky Ive only lost 10 [emoji30] . I walk everywhere and been taking stairs. But I also have been on my menstrual so idk if that makes a difference. Yesterday I weighed 203. When I started the pre op I was 213. Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app

Yay! I got my arrival time today. So may 8th at 10am. I'm so excited, I've read about good and bad experiences people have gone through after surgery. I'm hoping I don't have any problems. I know what you mean. Im allowed 1/3cup of rice and today I was like hmm let me have a little more since I won't be eating rice for a while. You have no idea how much I regretted that extra rice. I had the worst stomach pains and it sent me to the bathroom. These last two days although is not required, I'm going to do only liquids just because. Omg me too I got the call today to let me know what time is surgery. Thank God is in the morning. I have to do two weeks of liquid before I can have baby food or pureed foods.
