  1. Did you try the gas x? It helped me. But it takes a few days for it all to expell. I had the same problem.
  2. I second the Probiotics!!! My surgeon was insistent that I begin them as soon as I came home from hospital!! Good luck!!!
  3. The unflavored protein powder doesn’t sit well on my sleeve. I’ve been using premier protein shakes. 30g of protein per shake and tons of different flavors. The cookies and creme is my favorite. If you have a Sams near you then they are way cheaper there.
  4. I was sleeved on 2/28 and today is the first day I’m not in much pain. Slow going with water intake. Takes me all day. And protein isn’t tolerable yet. I’m trying. Sounds like everyone handles it differently and we each just need to listen to our bodies and our doctors. Good luck all!!
  5. I was sleeved on 2/28 and also having a hard time with water intake. Feels like I take in too much air. I just keep sipping and walking. Getting better everyday. Good luck!!
  6. Thank you. I did get the gas x and have been walking. It’s very slowly getting better.
  7. Thank you! Will get some today!
  8. I’m 3 days post op and have a ton of air on my stomach. I’ve been drinking water and taking Prevacid. Haven’t been able to tolerate protein as of yet. But the gas pains are killing me. It’s hurting all up into my shoulder. Any tips, besides walking, to help relieve the pressure!!!!!
  9. I'm still in my journey to Gastric Sleeve. Should be getting my surgery date at my next appointment. Just curious how many that chose the sleeve is now having heartburn or Reflux? And did you have any before surgery? Thank you ?
  10. 45 lbs is amazing!!! I'm 6 months into the process of getting approved by insurance. Been getting frustrated because it's taking so long, but seeing this makes me feel like it will be worth it!!! I think you are doing great ?
  11. That does put it into perspective. Thank you.
  12. I'm in the same boat. I have gone to two consults and have a 3rd on May 1st. Scariest thing for me is the hair loss. I'm 5'8 and weigh 260. Dr. wants me to lose 15 lbs before surgery. Have thyroid disorder which makes it extremely hard for me to lose weight. I keep going back and forth..do it or no?
