  2. Hi y'all! I had the VSG on 4/5/17 and it's been the best decision of my life. I feel like myself again. I'm still heavier than I'd like to be but I'm healthier without a doubt. My husband and I are planning to TTC but this past month we started not preventing and I'm now having some odd experiences. Wanted your thoughts or to see if anyone else has experienced this: The first day of my last period was 2/11. Predicted ovulation date was 2/26 though based on signs, I think it was a few days later. Husband and I "didn't prevent" on 3/2. For the past week, I've had dark brown discharge and then today I had what looked like thicker mucus with some darker blood in it when I wiped. My lower back has also been hurting. Most noticeably, though, is that I ate food yesterday for lunch and within 3 minutes, I was in the bathroom rejecting it. I haven't done that since I first started solid foods with my surgery last year. I didn't eat too much...maybe too fast? Today, I just ate a little soup and I feel so full and queasy. My heartburn has been very bad too. My question is, did you all have symptoms like that full feeling we all got right after surgery that looking back were pregnancy signs?

  4. I didn't have the leak test. What do they do?
  5. So odd. I just had the sleeve on 4/5 and have lost 20 pounds since pre op. In the past few days, if I sit in one place too long my tailbone throbs. I've never had that problem.
  6. Sleeved a week ago. I'm healing well. My incisions are sore but I don't have pain. The gas is still annoying but I never had it as bad as it seems others have. The hardest part has truly been that I can't stand protein powder. It makes me gag. I also have what feels like hunger at night. Wondering if it's gas or reflux. Im just generally uncomfortable and not sleeping well but im blessed. I've had a good experience thus far. Post op appointment tomorrow. 16 pounds down since 3/28.

  12. Hi there! I was sleeved on 4/5. Spent one night in the hospital. I, too, vomited blood but after that the worst part for me has been sore/painful incisions and itchiness. I went walking around the grocery store today and tired out super quickly. I feel like I'm constantly sipping on water and I only got 32 ounces in today. That, plus the broth with protein and protein shakes, and I got to the point where I was swallowing and felt gas. It should improve as we go .
  13. Just sleeved on 4/5. The first day was very rough and painful but things have been smooth sailing since! Little gas pain, no naseau, and no headache. Worst part is the soreness and pain on my incisions. I am also extremely tired but tonight couldn't sleep at all. Best wishes to all!
