  2. Today is my 1st week post op and wow what a week it's been. My surgery went well and I'm up and about now. I can even drink more liquids now at first I struggled to drink anything at all but the gas pains will not go away. I go back to work next week and I'm worried that I will still be battling the gas. I've tried the gas-x strips(didn't work), Tums chewable(nasty taste and didn't work). Is anyone else still dealing with the gas or if not what worked to get rid of it?
