  3. You've got a point. I described my endoscopy experience because the OP mentioned sedation and a tube in the throat. An Upper GI is just drinking some gunk and watching the X-ray screen to see how it goes down.
  4. I'm so sorry you're dealing with this. Family and friends can make all the difference. It sounds like things are changing, and I hope they do. I was going to suggest getting a mini fridge for your room, to keep your food separate. Best of luck!
  5. I had one last week and didn't even have a sore throat afterwards. I don't remember anything, either. You should be fine!
  6. April 10! I'm rushing through prep because it's being done same time as an emergency hiatal hernia repair. Six months of classes in just a few weeks. Exhausting but exciting!
