  2. My surgeon/Dr saw me today for a check up since his surgery days are Wednesday's He has advanced me to puréed foods such as puréed ground beef scrambled egg cottage cheese.. I thought that was something you start on week3-4... anyone else advance fast? I'm nervous about moving this fast..
  3. Hi I was sleeved on 8/2 as well! I went in for my week post op check (surgeon will be in surgeries all day tomorrow) he graduated me to puréed foods today excludes: pasta, rice, bread etc. He said amount to be consumed is 2-4 oz. at a time... I've been following the 2-4 oz rule scared to have that awful shoulder pain which may occur if over eating.. our stomachs are the size of a straw after surgery
  4. Broth from top ramen, strained Campbell soup broth, teas with honey, apple juice diluted with water and sugar free cranberry juice
  5. Sandra CONGRATULATIONS TWIN! Life is getting easier (I think) breakfast this morning was runny cream of wheat 1 cup water 1/4 fat free milk, premiere protein drink for lunch, sugar free popsicle just now and sipping on that water from when I wake until I got to bed. my eyes look sunken in and it's cause I'm not pushing in enough H20..I'll have to buy some unjury.. I have vanilla flavored isopure which I have not tried. Wishing you all the best in your new life! [emoji847]
  6. I was sleeved on 8/2 and surgeon approved full liquid diet on day 8/4.. most of the threads I'm reading say clear liquids for one week then progression into next phase..did anyone skip the clear and move onto full liquids such as protein drinks, yogurts, cream of wheat?

  9. Does anyone know how long it takes outside stomach to heal after vsg? How long does it take interior stomach to heal?

  11. Hello, This is day 2 post op.. first day was not bad at all due to the combo of meds i was on the meds wore off and I'm not on my PCa anymore The Pain med they're prescribing me hyceth (sp)? Is so disgusting I've already taken nausea meds.. water going down well but hospital is providing a liquid solid diet already i.e. : creamy soup, milk, pudding ? any one have pointers for a newbie? Thank you!
  12. Hello all! I had my lapband placed in 2011 and after pregnancy in 2015 band didn't sit right too many complications with eating/drinking.. my surgeon removed it this morning and I feel great!! Waiting for stomach to heal before walking down the sleeve route..[emoji5]?
