I’m about 28 days post op. For the first two- three weeks I was doing good. And I started to introduce soft food and then all the protein shakes started to taste worse than they did before. Now I’m at the point I can only eat some ever other day.. I’m feeling a bit lost and when I do attempt to eat it hurts for a good while.

I don't have my exact date but my guess is I'm going to be a sept surgery as well. I got aug 17th for my consultant with the surgery center

Keep your head up. Take a deep breath and remember why you started all this and what you truely want for your life and not just the want now. Drink more liquids. Don't cheat because you are only hurting yourself. Call and maybe ask the surgery place if there is something they can recommend to easy the hunger a bit like a hunger blocking pill or some think to help ease it.

I'm currently just waiting for the referral to go through. I'm tempted to call since it was submitted Thursday.. but idk. Hw: 352 CW: 330 GW: 150 Ht: 5'4

I just wish insurances would get on the same page with everything. Like they have all the information put into the computer why is it so hard?

Yeah. I'm frustrated too. I'm trying to be patient with all of them but damn how many hoops do I need. I just wish they would lay it all out and be clear about it. So I will just keep doing all I can.

Hello. I'm 26 yr old from the so cal area (hemet/ San jactino). I'm married and mother of my adorable 2 1/2 year old son. I'm currently a stay at home mom. I started my journey in February weighing 352 and I'm currently down 330. My current stand still is trying to find out when my surgery will be. My insurance is being difficult but I'm doing my best to jump through their hoops. I'm applying for gastric bypass. I've been overweight all my life and I don't want this anymore. So I'm looking for friends and a mentor to help keep me on my path when I sometimes cant

I guess let's just keep making good changes and do the best we can.

So far I've done the nutritionist, now I'm doing classes, then they are telling me that I haven't been doing the right stuff and they wanna sign me up for another class .. I feel Like I'm being dragged through the mud. Currently I'm waiting for the referral to go trough to I guess go to a consultation with the surgeon. Nothing has been mentioned about the pysch evaluation or scans. I've done a seminar and hopefully a group meeting on Wednesday. But I just need someone to talk to about all this

That's awesome. I'm struggling to even get things in gear towards getting a date for mine.

I'm struggling with the unknown. How did all your processing go before you got your surgery dates? I currently have IEHP insurance.
