Gearing up for surgery on Monday. My surgeon allows a light meal before 8PM the day before the surgery. It was also suggested to stay super hydrated to help avoid nausea post-surgery.

Things have been progressing. The hardest day was the nausea the day after surgery. Yesterday was okay but was so tired! I had the blood thinner shots in the hospital but not at home. Tolerating water okay -- mixing it up with Vitamin Zero and broth. Ordered the sample pack from Unjury as I heard that was a good protein brand. The tightness and gas comes and goes. When do you think the first bowel movement will happen? Or has it already for you? I've took colace to try to move things along.
