  1. I had surgery July 28th. I have lost 50lbs, I have not had my first fill yet. I am getting it filled Nov 17th. I have found myself slipping back into bad habits, I understand this is a daily struggle. I need to lose 150 more and it is hard.
  2. Yes,that includes the 2 week pre-surgery diet.I go back in 6 weeks now, but as long as the weight is coming off I won't have a fill until I need it. We used to eat out all the time and I have been cooking at home . This has really made a big difference for me.
  3. Good luck with everything. I am from Virginia also and had my surgery July 28th. I went for my 4 week checkup and I have lost 43 lbs. I feel great.:thumbup:Don't get frustrated, it is a slow process, but well worth it!!!!
  4. My surgery date is Monday the 28th. I have been on this liver shrinking diet for almost 2 weeks. Giving up the cafeine was the worst for me. I want to be successful in this new venture. Good luck.

  6. Well I guess I can add High food prices to my list of reasons for having lap band surgery. My doctor wanted us to make a list so if we get discouraged we can look back on the reasons why we did it. Even all the restaurants have new menus with higher prices!!! When you start writing down everything the list grows.
  7. costco has some pretty good shakes. I add ice and put them in the blender. Not bad.
  8. I can still take tylenol but I may as well eat candy. It does nothing. Thanks for the reply.

I have to go off estrogen, not take advil for knee pain and 800 calories a day. WOW! My poor husband .Does anyone have good ideas for making it through this time?
