  1. Can liquids stretch a sleeve? I am in my 2nd week post op and still on full liquids. I can drink 8oz of liquids in a 20-30 min timeframe. I just worry that I'm going to stretch it before I start! HW 420 SW 347 CW 334 Sleeved April 10, 2017
  2. I would go with diabetic given those choices. HW 420 SW 347 CW 334 Sleeved April 10, 2017
  3. The irony that we are warned over and over not to drink our calories... And the first thing to happen involves us spending weeks where our only calories come from liquids. I take that back. Maybe there is method to this madness. I will be so happy to be able to eat something that doesnt fit through a straw. HW 420 SW 347 CW 334 Sleeved April 10, 2017
  4. I'm a late responder to the original post but I was sleeved with Dr. Garcia last week and it was a great experience. I was well taken care of. HW 420 SW 347 CW 334 Sleeved April 10, 2017
  5. Dr Fernando Garcia at CER in Tijuana Mexico through Tijuana Bariatrics. I was sleeved on April 10 and it was a FANTASTIC experience. I would recommend this to anyone. Any questions please message me. HW 420 SW 347 CW 334 Sleeved April 10, 2017
  6. Congratulations! So exciting. I never thought I would miss lettuce but I do... HW 420 SW 347 CW 334 Sleeved April 10, 2017
  7. Oooo. This is the million dollar question. I don't see how we could go see a movie without popcorn! Lol. Seriously though, I plan to wait until aboht 3 months because of those mental things.
  8. Hey Dtru... That sucks about the tingly thing. I am feeling good also. Not down 20 but 10lbs for me. I will take it! I was so excited to try "full liquids" today. Not lifting things is just plain annoying. I'm rather surprised at how much liquid my new stomach can hold. I hope it doesnt mean it is stretched. If I sip slowly I can fit 8oz easily - of broth, g2, thin cream of wheat or even strained soup!
  9. Back of leg or front? Kind of sounds like sciatic nerve pain. Could have pinched it during the process..
  10. I'm visiting my sister and fly to San Diego tomorrow with surgery date Monday. Liquids are annoying but I'm getting used to it. But I am absolutely petrified. What if something goes wrong? Wowsers. The anxiety is brutal.
  11. Me too. April 10 with Dr. Garcia at CER
  12. I have been on the pre op diet for over a week. This second week is easier than the first. But I'm dying. I'm not physically hungry anymore. But I'm tired.
  13. Anyone else headed to Mexico for their surgery in April? I'm in with Tijuana Bariatrics at CER on April 10
  14. Me too. We can do this!
