  1. The night I came home from the hospital I felt uncertain, scared, remorseful and I wanted to undo it all. I had had barely any sleep. I felt that I was thrown out to the wolves when I left the hospital. I was still in extreme pain as far as gas pain. After I allowed myself to just sleep. Only getting up to take pain meds and a little water, did I feel better. I woke up. My mind was clearer. I could see all the reasons that I wanted and needed to have this surgery. I seen all of the things I will be able to do with my kids from now on. And it seemed, that I just need to take a breath, make a written schedule and everything would be fine. And it has been great. I still get gas pain when I eat. But I just keep walking. My surgery was this last Thursday the 23rd. When I started drinking the protein shakes was when I finally got more energy and didn't feel like sleeping all of the time. You can do it!!
