  1. I use the vanilla GNC pure isolate. Mix it with Water and it taste good to me. It is about $26 per container. Not sure if that is more than others but it is pure whey isolate and i like the flavor. Has 25g protein and about 110 calories per 8 Oz drink
  2. I am now just short of 1 month post surgery and like you I didn't experience the nausea or rejections of food. Was even was able to drink pretty easily. It worried me but the weight is coming off and I am easily full with several small meals throughout the day, so as long as I am getting the right amounts of water and protein I am just writing my experience off to everyone is different. I think the key to continued success will be personal disapline.
  3. I second all Elisa has said. I do have hunger after surgery, but it is amazing how little food will satisfy that hunger. It is so good and motivating to see the scale move. It really motivates me to exercise more.
  4. Congratulations, you are reading my mind. I had my surgery on Jan 30, and I am down 34 lbs from my pre-op weight. I second your opinion that this is the best thing I have done for myself. I have so much more energy now.
