  1. Hi there, First of all, I think your feelings are 100% on point. You have made a big decision and second guessing is normal. You need to ask yourself a couple of questions--why are you doing this? What are your alternatives if you don't? For me, I did this for better health and to be around long enough to see my grandchildren. How I will look once this is over is a concern, but personally I would rather have excess skin than diabetes, heart issues, mobility issues, etc. Also, I'm sorry you do not have much support. Keep coming to this forum and see if you can find a support group to attend in person. Having support from non-wls people is important, but so is being around people who have had it done and "get" you. Best of luck to you. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. Hi everyone! My name is Angie and I was sleeved on February 1st. The first couple of days were tough, and I had a bit of stomach cramping/pain a week out but since then I am doing great. I am currently on the full liquid diet and am counting down the days to puréed foods. For those of you in the pre-op liquid phase or newly post op, hang in there! 3. Hi there! This happened to me. It was like a squeeze of death! I even went back on my pain meds and Sleeping was difficult. I had no fever or shoulder pain so not gas. I did end up changing my clear protein from the powder at my doctors office to the isopure at GNC and it went away. I had told myself if it continued after a second full day I was calling my doctor, luckily it was only about a day and a half. I hope it goes away for you soon!
