  1. Wow started of my journey at 236lbs had surgery on the 13 Feb now the 1st march and I'm down to 197 lbs cuts are healing well a few more months you won't see them cool ?
  2. Wow ? I got it cheap then started off at 236lbs just weight myself 197lbs ??? not been that weight since I was 16 lol
  3. It gets better with time ? Say strong it's all in the mind just makes you think what alternative you can eat instead ov junk food ?
  4. Hi here in the U.K. ?? the cost my surgery cost me £9990 ? But I have to say it worth every penny 2 night stay at hospital well looked after and unlimited nut and after care .

  8. Feel great had surgery on the 13th not much pain stopped take all pain relief 3 days after first bowl movement was hard but now fine . Driving now and getting around the only regret I have is not doing it a few years ago now down to 200lbs ??hope this helps you
  9. Feb 13th I feel great getting use to it all slowly but surely ? Still on liquid diet but fine apart from that . Good luck in all your journeys and lets all focus on our goals ?????

  11. Hi James I'm out now 15 days no gas pains now no pain relief driving and walking about fine still on liquid diet ? But I can feel the benefits already I'm sleeping better starting to be more active stay strong not look at it as a punishment think ov it as a tool to help you get your life back . I'm not saying it's easy but keep your mind focused on the prize ????? hope this helps
  12. If in doubt ur not ready for the journey ? Ur mind as got to be clear in what your goal is . And look at the big picture best to try and sort it now than when you av put more lbs on and older . = give u more life to injoy . Good luck only u no what to do ?
  13. They can put a device down your throat and stretch ur sleeve a little if the problem gets to much but try and work it first ?
  14. O yer some times I get a muller light yogurt down 175 grams

Easy getting fluids down now nut told me to drink less Water and more milk and Protein shakes and Soups I'm drinking at least x3 30g Protein Shakes 310ml 200ml Soup sometimes 2 and 350ml ov milk per day . Getting abit sick ov liquids now tho but not long to go ? Mind over matter = goals reach so truck on stay strong ?
  16. I'm 13 days out on a liquid diet ☹️ But all I think ov is my goal would luv a piece ov salmon and some veg right now but one step at a time just got to focus ahead ?? and make small changes to my life to live longer and happier . =worth it ?
  17. This is what I also found on a over forums I donated blood for the first time post op at about 6 months out. My Iron was fine. But donating made me more tired than usual. If you do it, I would wait until you are several months post op... and then stay really well hydrated and eat a good meal beforehand
  18. Some patients after gastric bypass will suffer from Iron deficiency anemia and may require iron supplementation. If you suffer from this, it would not be a good idea to donate blood. If your blood levels are normal it is not a problem to donate . Hope this helps ?
