  1. Yes give it time...your body is in shock from surgery and is going to take time to adjust to your new digestive system. Keep an eye out for signs and symptoms of infection like fever and/or drainage from incision sites, increased pain, redness. Do exactly as yout doctor ordered. If you are still having issues please contact your doctor Sent from my SM-G925R7 using the BariatricPal App
  2. Have you tried Inspire? I just got the unflavored Protein powder. So far so good. I haven't tried the shots...keep us informed if you try it! Sent from my SM-G925R7 using the BariatricPal App

  6. Hi everyone! My name is Dianna. I am from WV. I have always been overweight. At my heaviest I was 280lbs. The most I've lost was with medication and I went from a size 26 to a 18 when I found my dream wedding gown. When I went off the medication, I ballooned back up to 269lbs. I have yo-yo dieted ever since. Both of my parents having hypertension, uncontrolled diabetes and both have had open heart bypass surgery. I have had hypertension for several years but was recently diagnosed with type two diabetes. I knew that if I did not do something soon I was heading for open heart surgery myself. This was the straw that broke the camels back. I am three months into the six month waiting period for insurance purposes. My surgeon put me on a 1000 calorie a day diet. Has it been easy? No it has not. But I am pretty much sticking with a high Protein low carb diet. I am losing some weight. My biggest struggle is finding time to exercise. With it being the dead of winter and my job, it is usually dark or getting dark by the time I get home. The struggle is real. I don't have a surgery date yet but hope to soon. I have yet to get the remainder of my qualifications completed but the dates are drawing near. I am scared and excited for my surgery date. With God's help, he did tell me that 'I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me'! God Bless Dianna Sent from my SM-G925R7 using the BariatricPal App
