    @@My5queens5 I'm in Torrance, CA. I'm going thru the process too. I have to take classes as well and I have to lose weight before surgery as well. Thankfully I have completed all the classes and Im 5 pounds away before I meet with my Dr for surgery. I'll lose that stubborn 5lbs before I meet with my Dr on 3/6/17.     I watch the show and I get mad, sad, frustrated and glad at the same time. I agree they show the most severe cases for ratings. I'm no different then those on the show and I'm not casting any stones. I'm starting my own journey as well. I watch the shows to prepare myself for what could happen, what to avoid and what are the similarities I share.
