  1. I got sleeved 4/24 and lost 22lbs the first week and like 2lbs he second week. I stopped weighing myself. I'll just wait until my next dr appt on the 23, otherwise I'll go crazy.
  2. These incisions are on my nerves more than anything! Gah. Lol
  3. I had my surgery on Monday and I came home yesterday. The first day was absolutely miserable. I've never been more nauseous in my entire life. Now, it's Thursday. I'm home. I'm sore, but I'm getting better each day. The surgeon said my liver looked great and I'm excited for what's to come. I'll keep you all updated. Thank you for the encouragement. I really feel like I can do this!
  4. My surgery is on Monday! I am so anxious. I've never had so much as a broken bone and I'm freaking out. I just want it to be done. I'm not going to stop either, but I wish I could calm my nerves. Have you already had surgery?
  5. Yeah, I get that. I've been the most strict I've ever been--including exercise-- and I still weighed in at the exact same at my pre-op appointment today as I did at my initial appt in January.
  6. That's good to hear. I feel like everyone kept pressuring me to get the switch, but I know myself and I've done this before. I feel like I can do it again. Thank you!
  7. I'm so nervous about my surgery. I'm getting the sleeve and I haven't seen very many people on here over 300lbs who are getting the sleeve. I've lost almost 100lbs on my own in the past, but I always gain it back. I know how to eat well and I have a fantastic support system and trainer, but I still worry that I will fail. Has anyone over 300lbs had success with the sleeve?

  9. Yeah, that's pretty much what they've told me.
  10. Mine is 4/24. I'm having anxiety.
  11. I'm scheduled to have the sleeve done 4/24. The process went really quickly and I'm grateful for that, but is it strange that I wasn't required to lose any weight before surgery? I keep reading how so many people had to lose weight prior to surgery.
