  1. I've been stuck at about 40BMI and seriously considering sleeve, including getting a consult from a local recommended surgeon, but my prior insurance plan excluded WLS. Switched insurance, but meanwhile suddenly have time to do it. So - I'm wondering what makes more sense - get qualified and approved (I guess 6 months to a year, but have no clue and have not checked) or Medical Tourism (Mexico, perhaps) on my own dime. I would do the Mexico (at a hospital, with board certified...) if I was confident about things like - what if there are post-surgical issues? Has anyone dealt with that issue? What is your advice here? Any experience with issues down the road? Insurance issues?
