  1. Lol Beav..my husband said I have the same smile on my face when she toot. Just like my son when I was a baby[emoji23][emoji23] I was able to get 30 oz of water in yesterday and 8 oz of protein shake. It was hard to do. Acid reflux with the shake. Hope it passes. Good to hear you're doing well. Ready to fly!!
  2. I had surgery Monday and every time I drink some Protein shake I get acid reflux. It has only been 4 days. Did anybody have this right after surgery but found it got better after healing? Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  3. I had my surgery Monday the 6th. Gas-X and Nexium have saved my sanity. Congrats on your new tiny tummy. I'd love to hear how you're doing. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  4. Thank you for your reply. It is calmer to hear that these recovery symptoms are normal. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  5. A couple of us are sleeved now! Yay! To the beginning of a new life. It's not often we get a reset button. I had surgery Monday and was home b Tuesday afternoon. I'm really struggling getting my fluids and protein in today. Not gonna be too hard on myself because my tiny tummy is healing. How's everybody doing? Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  6. I had surgery on Monday. I have not been able to drink my recommended Fluid. Only 30g of Protein (shake). When food hits my stomach it rolls! Is this normal? How long before you could get your protein and Water down? Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  7. I had surgery on Monday. I posted on here your same fears. I was nervous and questioning my decision all the way until surgery day. The morning of surgery my fears were gone. I envisioned the new me and I wanted that. My husband and son have been so supportive to this drastic change in our lives. Today I have very little pain except for some gas pain that gas-x helps me with. I feel absolutely no hunger or desire to eat. Thankfully because all I can do is drink for the next two weeks:-) Just getting to the point of having a date requires strength. You can do this. I have zero regrets at this point. And I understand it only gets better from here.. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  8. Me too Spuds. My date is 2/6. That's tomorrow!!!! Yesterday I was wack. Today I'm calm although still nervous about the surgery itself. Good luck to you and let me know how you're doing. Ready to fly!!
  9. Thanks Kate, I went through my lists and what I did to prepare and they match! I may become OCD because of this! I've done it two times already:-). Still unsure but I think it is more the mystery of the day I come home from the hospital than any sense of inadequacy. At least I hope so. Just needed a voice of encouragement and you were there. Thank you!! Ready to fly!!
  10. I'm going in for surgery on Monday. I've read all the info my surgeon has given me. I feel like I know what to do when I get home but I feel like I can't do this. Like I'm going to mess something up or do something wrong. Did anyone else feel this way? I'm excited for the future, a little scared of actual surgery but mostly just worried that I don't get it right when I come home. Ugh... Ready to fly!!
  11. My date is 2/6 also. So excited and ready. My only nervousness is the actual surgery. Can't wait to begin. Keep me posted how you're doing. Ready to fly!!
  12. I am having surgery on Monday. My surgeon did not want to set a goal weight. He wants to wait until my 2 week check and then evaluate my body composition muscle/fat ratio and then set one. At my 6 mo check we will set a goal weight again. I have a number in my mind but we shall see. Ready to fly!!
  13. Congratulations! You look amazing! Ready to fly!!
  14. I'm on for Feb 6th. Pre-op diet has been minimal for me. From reading here that is weird. Only 1 Meal Replacement and liquids the day before. Super exciting! We're gonna do great! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
