Am I a weird one for looking forward to the 2 week pre-op liquid diet? I'm so ready to get this done and onto healing & health. Still waiting on records from an MTF:( And my last ekgs are different than they were in December. I'm scared out of my mind that I'm going to have a heart attack before I get my medical records and insurance clearance. I'm only 29 .

My surgery is soon! I'm about to take the 201 class at Bridges Center. I'm just waiting on insurance now!!

SO I didn't receive a response back from my surgeon's office for three weeks after having the psych clearance over. Finally was able to call them today and my advocate said she didn't have paperwork from my primary care, no recommendation letter and none of the last 6 years of medical records... I told her she better check again because I sent her a PDF file from the MTF's I've been to with 6 years of weight issues documented and my primary care sent in the referral. I know I won't get a letter of rec from him because he's a jerk and thinks I'm overweight because I overeat at every meal. Honestly, he's horrendous but with my insurance, I don't have time to change providers and wait another 3 months...advocate found the email of my medical records, said she'd read through them (277pages plus) and that I don't need pulmonary or cardiac clearance my 201 class, the class right before surgery, is scheduled for Tuesday the 7th so excited it's getting closer! I also just found out I have insurance until at least September! woohoo! I thought that would run out on April 30! Anyone else have to go through something similar at Bridges Center in phoenix, Az?

I still havent received a call from the surgeon. I think united healthcare has 14 business days to make a decision and tell the client....I'm getting anxious waiting

Yes i have nearly 6 years of weigh-ins and doctor supervised diets ultrasounds mri's etc

OMG OMG OMG I AM PSYCH CLEARED!! CLEARANCE SENT TO MY SURGEON ON MONDAY!! I'M A NORMAL CRAZY PERSON!! I was so worried!! About how long did it take you to get a surgery date after psych clearance? I have united healthcare insurance. What do I need to start doing to prepare more for surgery? Stock up on anything?
