  1. Hi all, I was banded on 12/29/05 and this is, of course, my first summer with the band. Do any of you notice that you are tighter now that the heat has set in? My second (and last) fill was on March 8th and I have been doing great at this level but the last two weeks have been really tough. I have PBd 4 times in the last 2 weeks. I am chewing slowly and taking little bites but I can't keep much of it down. I then go to liquid for a few meals after the PB in order to settle the band down but I am really stuggling. I am getting all of my Water in and even more but the food is really wiping me out. I really think I might be a little swollen because of the heat. Does anyone out there have this problem. I do have an appointment with Dr. Malley on the 5th and will talk to him about this. I have been disappointed with my weight loss the past few weeks because i am not eating but not loosing. my poor body is in starvation mode and holding out. Just curious to know if anyone has this same issue. thanks, Bec Dr. Malley 12/29/05 -53
  2. Thanks for the advice! I just didn't want to do any physical damage to the port and have been doing ok on my own anyway. thanks again, bec
  3. Hi all, I do a lot of reading on this site but rarely ask questions so here it goes. I have not seen this asked, and will check with my doctor, but thought I would ask you too. Has anyone used one of those tummy belts? The ones with the electrodes that works your ab muscles? Do you know what I mean?? You just put on the belt and turn on the device and it makes your muscles contract every so many seconds. I was recently given one of those brand new and thought I would try it out while I was on the treadmill but wasn't sure how it would affect the port area. Has anyone tried this or know anything about it??? Just curious. I don't want to hurt my port in any way. Thanks in advance for any advice. bec Dr. Malley 12/29/05 283/253/150ish -30lbs
