  2. After my weight loss stall that seemed like forever!!!, I was happy to see that the scale started moving again . That was more annoying than getting your shirt snagged on a drawer knob. Well I finally hit the 30 pound loss mark. Whoot!!! I personally think that's a decent amount of weight for the amount of time since I've gotten my roux en y surgery on January 9th 2017. I do want to actually lose weight at a normal pace. Not no landslide. All in all I feel great!!!!! The incision on my right side where the biggest instrument went in still bothers me. When I stand up it feel like my insides are going to drop out. There is a lot of straining and pulling. My doctor reassured me that it is completely normal and expected. They spent a good amount of time in that area, and they had kind of a rough time with moving my muscles in that area . With these small annoyances, I would still go through with this operation again, in a heartbeat. Every now and then I get the annoying head hunger. Luckily it passes very quickly. With the small amount of food I'm actually able to eat, I feel soo much more healthy in that aspect. I currently am not craving ANY of the crap that I used to consume. I'm just soo happy with my decision to get this done. Save some room on that losers bench please Sent from my XT1575 using the BariatricPal App

    Just a quick update.

Thank you! I'm not really worrying about the loss at this point. If i stall, I stall. Just as long as it happens. Haha. Sent from my XT1575 using the BariatricPal App
  4. They yank ya liver out???... thought they just moved it and ripped ya stomach out Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App That's what my surgeon told me. I personally wasn't aware of my surroundings at the time. Lol Sent from my XT1575 using the BariatricPal App
  5. My surgeon told me. Just yesterday for my two week follow up. That the top incision is for the liver. They yanked that sucker right out of there and layed it on my belly for easier maneuverability. Sent from my XT1575 using the BariatricPal App
  6. Thanks, it sure is real!! Look out summer!!!
  7. I got my wls, Roux en y, on January 9th 2017. Things that held me back, things that seemed impossible, will soon be a distant memory. Only looking up from here.!! Pre surgery 1/09/17 weighed in at 316 Currently 01/18/17 weighed in at 292 That's a total of 24 pounds in 9 days. I couldn't be happier. I'm soo glad I bit the scary bullet and decided to go through with this. Now I know my weight will fluctuate. And I know this is DEFINITELY not the easy way out. This tool so far has changed my life.
