  2. I hear you I'm trying about 150-170 lol. We can do it!!! Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” ‭‭
  3. I believe it!!! Definitely a journey with a great reward. Ironically, I was just hospitalized and my nurse tech had his sleeve done 11 months ago and he lost almost 190lbs!! He looks great and he says he feels much lighter although he's been slipping up a little. Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” ‭‭
  4. Congrats!!! I pray that all goes well for you! How has your journey been so far? I just finished my pulmonary dr appt yesterday and I was cleared. I'm just waiting for my sleep study and my last nutrition appt. I'm am STRUGGLING at the moment with my eating. I'm losing weight, but I've noticed I've have been a bit carb heavy the past few days. I had a full Breakfast this morning so I'll be watching it now. Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” ‭‭
  5. Hello all! I am 26 going on 27 in a few weeks and I'm in nearing the ending of my preliminary appointments before going on the post-op diet right before surgery. I'm currently a full-time doctoral student, active member of my church serving in multiple ministries, and married to my wonderful husband who is making a life change as well. I wanted to know who here is from SNJ and hopefully we can connect to be a support system. I have membership at PF and will be attending regularly since I have been cleared to do so. This is such a heavy decision and a life change that is better supported by people who can show empathy. Let's connect!! Blessings! Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” ‭‭
  6. I just did mine on Thursday. They were very pleasant and it was helpful. Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” ‭‭
  7. I love it!!! I have. Clothes in different sizes so that will help before I do a major shopping spree. I'm currently in the hospital now for my breathing and chronic muscle weakness. But, I believe God is walking me through this. My nurse tech and I just spoke. He had the surgery last April and is down 170lbs. He was so encouraging and he had his through Virtua and now works for Virtua. He told me some of his challenges and victories. Very inspiring. Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” ‭‭
  8. I think it's a good resource because it's represents people who get it. How has your journey been so far? We're there any major challenges you ran into post op? Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” ‭‭
  9. I'm using Dr. Acholonu. My surgery should be in Voorhees, it's closer to where I live. I'm assuming you go to the support group in Moorestown because I know that support group day has passed for January, but there's also a support group the 19th in Voorhees, I will be going to that one. I'm nervous and excited, but thanks to BariatricPal, I see there's a lot of us out here going through and who have gone through this process. I love to read about their experiences, the good and the bad, to help prepare myself. The 19th will be my first support group. I plan to continue going to them after surgery because I know there's strength in numbers, and I'm sure I will need that support! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Okay, got it. I did miss the one for this month, but I plan to go next month. I definitely agree that there is power in numbers. Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” ‭‭
  10. You don't have long now. Exciting!!! Dr. David Greenbaum. I've missed the support group this month so I'll be going next month. Do you know if you'll be in Marlton or Mount Holly? I'm assuming he uses both facilities, but I'll find out soon. Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” ‭‭
  11. I'm going through Virtua as well, due to some confusion, I still have to get my physicians letter and then my info will be submitted to insurance... Which Dr. are you using? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” ‭‭
  12. Hello all!!! I'm in South Jersey and I'll be going through Virtua. I'm still getting through my final appointments before getting a date. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
