  1. I am 4 days post op and have the worse pain around the big incision. My doctor gave me tramadol for the muscles and I walk around holding where my incision is so it doesn't hurt as much Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. I'm sooo glad that my story made you feel like it's also your right decision also!! I wish you nothing but the best I can tell you a couple of trick to kinda make it a little better. When you are released and headed home make sure you have some Gas-x strips and a heating pad!! It has helped me a lot!! I'm so glad that you are going 2 go thru with it also for your 1 year old baby!!! You are very much welcomed!! Glad I was able to help you!! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  5. Suzzzzz you are definitely right it is a huge change and sometimes I feel like was it the right time?? But I'm know if I waited I would've kept putting it off. And that's the only thing that gets me thru is knowing that it will get better! I just wish the pain would subside especially around the big incision Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  6. I was admitted into the hospital on 12/30/16 the day before I was so undecided on whether I wanted to go they with it or not. What really made me decide to go thru was my 1 year old son. I know that I have to be around for him while he grows up. I have had congestive heart failure for the past 3 years and 3 heart surgeries too follow so I figured one more surgery would be a breeze. But I'm just 4 days post op and it's a struggle. My mind is telling me that I'm hungry but my stomach is saying something else. At times I feel like I regret going thru it but I have to look at the big picture and just realize I did it not only for my son but also for myself. I'm only 29 years old and have had 3 major heart surgeries. I was limited to doing certain things before surgery and I feel once I start losing weight I will be able to be more active. I am so glad that I found this App for support and questions because it feels like I am in this alone. Can't wait to interact with other Sleevers!! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  7. White Sale I totally understand what you mean when you say it was my decision but sometimes I think people do it 2 taunt me. And it makes me feel mad and a little bit of sad. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  8. I'm trying not give up. Every time I think about giving up I look at the big picture. Especially with the pain that I'm still having where the big incision is that is the most painful. I just feel like sometimes I wish I could rewind time and change my mind but it was a life or death situation I guess it's just getting over these hard couple of days.. 9. I was sleeved last Friday and post op 4 days. It is a struggle everyday when you have people around you that eats in front of your face knowing that the smell makes you nauseous. Sometimes I feel like I didn't make the right decision Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
