  5. Have any of you experienced significant neck pain 2-5 days after your gastric sleeve surgery? The pain is from behind the ears, down the neck, and stops at the shoulders. The pain also originates at the base of the skull and travels down the neck to just above the shoulders. It feels like a TERRIBLE bruise and interferes with sleep. There is no pain in the front of the neck. There is no trouble swallowing. It is not causing a headache. Just the specific areas listed above ache terribly and meds don't calm the pain. TIA.
