  6. I'm 14 months into the process now, will be around 16 months come surgery. I'm totally blessed to have it done via NHS, my GP said I met the criteria and referred me and it has steam rolled from there ???? Sent from my SM-G920F using the BariatricPal App
  7. Wishing you the very best of luck for your conversion surgery. I love the way you write, so open and honest with humour thrown in. I'm pre op, sleeve surgery is in around 8 weeks. It's so different over here in the UK, obviously we have the NHS so if you meet the strict criteria then your op is paid for. Then you just have to jump through whatever hoops the surgeon requires. Sounds like you have really been through the mill! Following your progress x Sent from my SM-G920F using the BariatricPal App
  8. I'm researching various Proteins now, but struggling. Lots of different info from various sources. It would be so much easier if there were universal guidelines lol x Sent from my SM-G920F using the BariatricPal App
  9. Thanks for all the info! Wouldn't it be so much easier if every surgeon had the same guidelines for post op lol x Sent from my SM-G920F using the BariatricPal App
  10. Hope all goes well for you! I have been told to look into Protein shakes, and also slim fast. I guess different areas have different aftercare maybe? X Sent from my SM-G920F using the BariatricPal App

  12. Hey! I'm new to the app and due for surgery in around 8 weeks. Trying to get everything together for post op but really struggling with which Protein to get? I see most people across the pond tend to go with Premier Protein, but that's not available over here. So what are our options? Sent from my SM-G920F using the BariatricPal App
