    i just finished my preop requirements and am waiting for my surgeons office to send my file to insurance for approval. some advice... try not to stress all the little things, keep a food log & try to exercise a little each day. good luck to you!!

    i have aetna too. gained 11 in three months then dropped 7 then dropped 2. it's a super high stress time & i think, i hope the insurance people understand that. as long as your bmi is over 40 you shouldn't have any issue.

    i believe they passed a requirement either this year or last that states 6 months of nutrition counseling minimum. i have aetna & had to do 6 months. it goes by quicker than you think!! good luck!
