  1. Since my last fill ( third fill) i am very restricted on many foods. Chicken, beef, even tuna. I love tuna salad and have a very hard time with it. Any bread is not good. I guess that is a good thing. Does anyone have problems with drinking sometimes 2 hours after eatting. I still have to eat real soft foods. I eat alot of cottage cheese, beans, veggies. you know the healthy stuff ... LOL
  2. Hello, i had the same thing happen to me about two weeks ago. I thought that i was the only one this happend to. I got a fill on Oct 1st on Wedsday. and by that night i was is soooo much pain . i had heartburn out of this world. It hurt so bad my muscles in my back were hurting from me being so tense. I live in NM and have to fly to PHX for my fills. i lasted two days like this and had to fly back on the 3ed. My band was at 4.2cc and they filled it to 7.0cc. I too would throw up my own spit. I thought i was going to die from the pain. I lost 12 lbs in the two days from no water or food. Girl....that hurt soooo bad. Now they want me to stay over night everytime i get a fill just in case. I think the fill was way to much. adding 3.2cc at one time is alot. my band only holds 10cc. Now is still have a hard time eatting now. i cant eat anything with spice in it. I still have to eat soft foods. That last fill messed my stomach up very bad. let me know how you feel now. can you eat the same or is it still hard.
  3. I have read alot of the blogs about how to eat , low carb vs low fat. I have read some people eat what they want in moderation. This is what i think. I got the band because I wanted to eat less and to change my eatting habits. The band definatly does that. I can not eat like you use to. I know that i eat less and that i cant eat the whole plate of food anymore. The band has givin me more of an awareness of the old eatting habits that i had. I eat less , i eat what i want, i dont count calories or stick to a low carb diet. I choose my meals a little bit more wiser now. I will choose fish over beef. I will eat veggies instead of junk. I drink more water then i ever have before in my life. I think all of us know how to eat right it is a matter of us making better choices and sticking to the new habits . I have learned to just say no to portions that are to big, drinking a large amount of water throughout the day. I dont want to be tied down to any diet. I just want to eat normal sizes and not pig out throught the day. There are more over weight people in US due to larger and bigger portion sizes. Going to all you can eat bars. In Eupropean country the portion sizes are normal. We would consider them very small. But they are not over weight in these countries. I have truley be delivered from overeating and I thank God for that.
