So, I got my approval today and now I'm just waiting on my Doctors office to call me with my preop appt date/Surgery Date! I'm just so excited! So thankful!

Updating! I just got Approved!!!!

Yes, but it will move. I had 4 months of testing and appts, and this month is taking me into my 5th month. But it has moved so quickly!

@@reinay86 I promise it comes so fast! I went to my initial consultation 10/27/16. I had to do 4 monthly nutritionist meetings. A Psych eval, a dietician appt, an egd, a heart echo, stress test and a sleep study. *whew* and finally all was ready to submit 1/25/17. So the 4 months was all. Who do you have for insurance?Oh and as long as my approval comes back asap, I'm going for surgery 2/21 or 2/22!

@@reinay86 I am completely done with my requirements. My file is now sitting with Aetna waiting for approval! So now I'm just stressing for my "YES" !

My experience was a bit different. I went over my test results before i finished. So, now I'm waiting for my approval from Aetna and once I get that I have a pre-op appointment with my surgeon and I get my date! Hopefully you get yours Friday though! I'm excited for you!

In 2 days of testing, I racked up over $25,000 in medical bills, my portion was $1100, but, trust me I understand your pain. It really is about sticking with it! Vent, rant and keep pushing! I'm waiting for my approval now. So I'm still right there with you! It'll work out if you trust the process!

Story of my life right now. I had a bit of a hiccup with my bariatric center sending my info, but Aetna received all of my information 2/2/17, so... Now I wait. i feel like one little call in the morning and in the afternoon,daily, should help my nerves a bit, lol

I'm in the Dallas, Texas area, but I finish my ins req next month! Good luck!
