My doctor wants me too get 60 grams of Protein in daily. How many ounces is this daily? Can't find a good answer out from the internet.

One year of preparing, jumping through loopholes my surgery date was set fire Jan 3rd. I had already started pre diet. Received a call yesterday telling me mine surgeon wasn't going to be available for the surgery. Therefore, they needed to postpone with no date set up for surgery. My mind was mentally in the game, ready and pumped. Now this. Any suggestions on how I can deal with this? I'm deflated and want to eat everything in site. HELP. How to deal? This might be tmi but I have to ask. I am using gas X strips to reduce the gas but I don't think it's working. I am still releasing gas loudly and is very embarrassing. I am having my revision surgery on Jan 3rd, making my pre Op Diet starting on Christmas Eve day. Any suggestions on what I will be able to eat over the holidays. 3 big meals for me to get through. All this advice does help. It seems I'll be able to function mostly on my own, good to know. I'm pretty independent. My concern is going to the restroom and showering with the drain I'll have. It does help, thank you. I have my surgery Jan 3, 17 so I'm trying my best to get everything I néed before hand because my brother will be my partial caregiver, then the other half I'm on my own. We're you able to take care of yourself or did you need help? I weigh a lot 500 so I can't walk well at all and not sure how easy it will be for me to get out of my recliner due to abdominal incisions. Recommendations, I'd love it since you are so new out.
