  2. I got approved!!!!!!!!!! My surgery date is Apr 24!
  3. Band free here too! Hoping to be banded, waiting to see if my insurance will cover me. Good luck with your surgery, do you know when your going?
  4. I am soooo excited! I also asked about my outpatient co-pay & I about hit the floor... my OP surgery copay to the hospital is $25.00, if they keep me over night its inpatient copay $500 I think I will be calling each afternoon ...LOL No, not really... well, maybe hehehehehe
  5. Karen, I would love to come to a meeting! I have yet to be able to attend any support meetings, because of my work schedule. My schedule at work is Tue, Wed, Fri, Sat 8am-7pm, I work on Gate Parkway so a location near 295/95 would be great. Someone mentioned 7 or 8 at night & that would be perfect on the days I work & and my days off are open for whatever time.
  6. Hi everyone! I work on Gate parkway, across from Seven Bridges, so the new office location sounds perfect to me! I called Aetna today & they recvd my precert request & it is "pending" , I was so excited I forgot to ask if they got it yesterday or today....either way I guess that one day wont make to big of a difference.. I just cant wait to know if they will approve me. So, I can start my new life!
  7. Thanks! I am really looking forward to it. I am really keeping my fingers crossed for Wed appt & for Aetna to approve it.. Thats the nail bitter! How long till they schedule the surgery if Aetna approves it? I want them to fax everything the second my appt is over..LOL but, hey don't we all...
  8. I would like to know this answer myself.. I am worried about re-coop time too. I work in a call center so I am tied to a headset for my entire 8am-7pm shift & we have 2 scheduled 15 minute breaks & one hour for lunch... no exceptions. So, I am curious how hard others would think it would be to stick to a schedule like that right after surgery. Plus we can take upto 10 weeks of paid medical leave, but I can't just come and go if I don't feel good one day. :sneaky:
  9. Hi everyone! I am new here & man oh man am I glad I stumbled onto this website & this thread! I am finishing my 3 month supervised diet plan & see the surgeon on wed the 12th... I did pretty good, didnt start really trying to hard till the past 6 weeks & lost 12 lbs... which was great! But now that I am to the end, I have been eating like a mad woman! And whats really bad is my Dr does not pull anyyyyyy punches about gaining & I am so afraid to go get on the scale...but think I may do all liquids till wed... like 2 days of liquids will help at this point.. LOL
  10. Hi YA everyone! I just stumbled upon this site & low n behold there is a Jax Group! woohoooo I am a patient of Dr Cywes & I will be going for my final visit on Wed & then we will submit the request to Aetna.... This seems like a really friendly little group! I am excited to get the surgery & also full of questions :0)~
