  1. I brought. . . PJs Slippers Lipbalm Breath Mints (sugarfree) Toiletries Lots of folks recommend things to keep you busy (phone, magazines, etc.) I decided not to do so. Instead I was going to get up and walk when I was bored. Worked like a charm. Was able to be home mid-day the day after surgery.
