  4. This breaks my heart. As if his success is based on those who loose and loose quickly. Facts are there is little data on the rate of loss versus regain. Mainly because those who don't lose as expected or at the rate slower than that of their peers, drop out, give up or go it alone. Darlin' I'm a slow looser and sleeved a year in October but I don't doubt for a minute I'll make my goal. Stick with it stay strong and surround yourself with like minded groups and people. There are more outlets for assistance than just your doctor. Or maybe better still voice your experience to him and help others in the same circumstance.

  12. I'm right there with you. But I'm 20 weeks out with similar numbers 212 start current 178 and 142 goal. But I know I've lost some inches in my now 8 weeks stall. ( I say stall I loose it comes back yadda yadda) But I was warned at these numbers slow and steady wins the race. Also I did benefit from some extra calories and protein. I'm told the muscle weight I'm adding will make all the difference in how my body looks eventually. Just consult your NUT and never give up that work out routine. Hope to hear it has all paid off for you soon. Cheers to beach bodies in the near future. [emoji16]

  14. Keep posted folks. Love to hear some more real folks reviews. I think if you get the one from HSN you get a workout video too. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  15. It had been some time since I worked out in any fashion routinely. So I'm hoping that's part of it. More reason to get that Protein and Water in too! I was not good with keeping track of measurements early on, so as the clothes fit better (even slowly) I'm more motivated than ever. TY! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  22. Thank you for the thread. I guess I'm a newbie but I'm in it for the long haul. And only a 20 lb. loss in my first 2 months has shaken my confidence. It's hearing comments like these that keep me pushing forward with a positive outlook and not getting concerned I'm the lone failure. Thanks again. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  23. I like Lose It never felt the need to do the paid version but I think it's on sale 50% off for the holiday. It will pull my fitness apps from my phone for extra calorie burn but I try never to use those either. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  24. So happy I found this thread. Don't get me wrong I'm thrilled for all those who post those fabulous loss numbers. But it only adds to my feelings of failure. My surgery was nearly 2 months ago and I'm down only 20lbs. ( including pre op diet loss) I journal every bite and walk 3-5 miles daily. Motivation was tough this morning until I read that I'm not alone. Staying faithful and will seek out more non scale victories. Thanks Gang! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
