  1. @H.150ToGo I was 12/8 I don't think you see the weight come off that fast. I've lost 70 in total (most pre-op) and no one has noticed. Lol are you still swollen? I am, that may be not helping with weight loss yet. I don't think I'm getting enough protein yet just doing my best to drink and take vitamins. So far no issues although worried about the iron I'm about to take. When I was prego it would make me throw up. Fingers crossed!! I'm realizing smarter to add protein powder in yogurt or soup will give me more for my bang but need to get unflavoured for soup. I think I got 60 think it's suppose to be 80. I also use soy milk to mix which has more protein then milk. It is hard Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. It's been just over 48 hours now. It's getting better. Went home after 24 hours. Pain was horrible had some nausea. Haven't thrown up. Seem to be eating everything I'm suppose to. It's was painful to drink still have some issues but it's much better. Tummy is making huge rumbling noises right now hopefully that means I'll get to release. ( sorry been 3 days). 4. So back home. For those of you that said the pain was tolerable I'm super jealous. Definately not that fun for me. Technically I'm just over 24 hours so I shouldn't complain. Lol. I did have moments of what the hell did I do. Coming out of surgery was hard I had a lot of pain especially in the chest left side thought I was having a heart attack. Test came back fine. I also didn't expect it to be so painful to drink anything OMG!!!! Good news like everyone said it gets better hang in there. I haven't thrown up so that's also a plus. Nauseous here and there. And the pain to drink it getting better. One day at a time right? . Thanks for everyones support, prayers and guidance. It definately helped. Let the new life begin. 19. Hi there I belong to a program I started in feb 2016 - medical weight management program. From there I was referred to the surgeon in October and surgery scheduled for December. You have to prove that you are making lifestyle changes, journaling your food, exercise, understanding portions, mindful eating just to name a few things. My BMI sadly 61, 60 is preferred max for sleeve. I'm not sure how many surgeons but I've heard dr Sampath is the best only one I know of. Mexico sounds scary, sounds like it was ok?
