Im getting sleeved on the 22nd. Just met my surgeon yesterday dr. Zelada at kaiser west la , he was impressed with my weight loss since my options class. He offered me surgery on the 22nd, next Wednesday! No pre-op diet just clear liquids The day before and no eat or drink after midnight. I was so suprised it went by so fast. My first visit with the dr. Turned into a 2 for 1. A consultation appt and pre-op all in one.

Would you be able to tell me how many weeks the wait is for a surgery date after consultation at harbor city is? I was told by options that west la is 8 weeks right now that they weren't sure about harbor city.. I have a choice between the two and want to go to which ever one is faster

I actually missed 1 class I have to make it up feb.28th. I also had a positive h.pylori I took antibiotics for a few weeks weeks ago. I have to retake that test and get a negative then I'll get an consultation appt. With the surgeon. I was told that my consultation will be about 2 weeks after I finish my requirements. Then after the waiting list for west la kaiser is currently around 8 weeks. I'm not sure about harbor city kaiser wait time.

I'm in baldwin park,ca sgv I have been attending my options classes at the baldwin park location. I don't finish my classes until Feb 10th. I'm hoping it won't take too long to get scheduled for surgery when I'm done. I'll be referred to either kaiser west la or kaiser south bay not sure yet. Hello!???? I'm new here, I'm just starting My kaiser options classes the 12 week program. I just have a few questions about recovery pain and abilities after surgery. So, I have 2 small children, a 1 year old 20 pounds and a soon to be 3 year old 30 pounds. The 1yr. Old likes for me to carry him from time to time and both of them like to jump and climb on me. How long will i not be able to carry them or have them play rough around me? My husband will be taking some time off to help. I would like to have a good idea of how long I will need him. I have had surgery before 2 csections.. My question is if anyone with experience could answer.. Was the pain and recovery as far as lifting and mobility afterwards similar? Thanks in advance..
