  3. My surgery is in 3 weeks. I have been on the scale every day for the last 4 months. It is likely I will continue that for the foreseeable future. I already have seen all my ups & downs, so I know its normal. Today I was up 3 # from earlier this week .... yesterday was not a day where my salt intake was normal so I know it is Water. Some of us are are very sensitive to sodium. So whatever you choose, be kind to yourself. Weight loss is not a straight line, just like most of life. Sent from my SM-T377P using the BariatricPal App
  4. I have no idea. I am only reporting on what I read about their product, and I make no comment beyond providing the facts as I understand them. I am very suspicious though, about compressing 30g into a 15g volume especially when that volume only weighs around 4g. As for shrinking molecules, here is a link that discusses that in layman's terms. http://www.schoolphysics.co.uk/age16-19/Atomic%20physics/Atomic%20structure%20and%20ions/text/Collapsing_molecules/index.html My dietician did reccomend it Sent from my SM-T377P using the BariatricPal App

  11. I am 64, the longer we wait the less healthy we become. I was 301# in August. I now weigh 267# with 4 weeks until my sleeve surgery. I am ready to live a healthier life and maybe a longer happier life. On another positive note my husband who has diabetes has lost 20lbs because I cook different. 16. I am in a similar place to you. My surgery will most likely be after the first of the year. I am using a 1200 calorie guide from my surgeon. 60 grams or more of that is lean protien. Lots of non starchy veggies. I do have an occaisional glass of wine or a SMALL piece of dark chocolate as a snack but I budget those calories in. I like smoothies made with greek yogurt, frozen unsweetened fruit, sometimes kale, almond milk, honey if needed, depends on the fruit. For me this works better for lunch than Breakfast. Good luck Sent from my SM-T377P using the BariatricPal App
