  1. Ok so my first post here and I really hope I can get some help. My surgery was 10-27-16. Started at 318lbs, now I'm at 272lbs. I'm having real issues with getting the protein I need. I've tried GNC shakes, ISO pure, and premier protein shakes. All of them now make me want to puke! I cannot drink that stuff anymore. I also am having a real hard time eating anything. I've almost developed a complex about eating because of the way it makes my stomach feel. This past week I've been feeling like throwing up all day. Anything I smell or taste just makes me sick. Any help with a different way to get protein. I feel like I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. I've been feeling weak and tired and my Dr. told me it's because not enough protein. How am I supposed to get it in when all it does is make me want to vomit?
  2. I guess I'm the only one of the October sleevers that isn't do well. I was sleeved 10/27. Started at 318lbs and today weighed in at 269lbs. The weight is flying off, but constantly feel like vomiting. I know I'm not getting in the daily fluids or Protein because of the vomiting issue. I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. I wish I could just be admitted to the hospital and given an IV. There's just no way I can take down 64 ounces of Fluid a day. I struggle with 32. My dr is hinting that I feel like this because I'm not drinking enough. I think he's right because my urine is really yellow, don't have to go much and it's been a while since I did #2. Really, really frustrated at this point. Any help would be appreciated.

    One month post op problems

My dr does have me on Nexium. That GENEPRO seems to be working for me although I still feel nauseaous. But like I said, if I sit still, I don't feel like that. Only when mobile. You sound like my dr saying I need to suck it up. It's very easy to say that!!! Trust me, I'm trying my very best to do what I'm supposed to. One thing I haven't been doing is eating because I hate the feeling I get. Like it's just sitting there. I did pick up some yogurt and apple sauce yesterday so I'll be trying to get down what I can.

I went and picked up GENEPRO from my local GNC. Added it to my Water content and it doesn't taste that bad. Of course I can still taste it, but not as bad as those shakes. Hopefully I can go with this for a while. Anyone got any advice on feeling nauseous all the time? It's like whenever I smell something or move around, I get that feeling. The only thing that works is just sitting down. I tried calling my Dr but I guess the office is closed today because no answer. I can't understand why all of a sudden I'm feeling like this. I've never felt so nauseated in my life!!!

I'm going to GNC to get Genepro. Is that any good?
